Delta’s IABG and National Formosa University jointly established the “Smart Mechatronics Laboratory” by investing millions to create a cyber-physical integration hub for talent development and R&D. (Right) Dr. David Tsai, deputy general manager of IABG, and (Left) Professor Jau-Shiung Fang, senior vice president of NFU, jointly inaugurated the lab.

IABG first collaborated with NFU in 2011, which laid the foundation for this lab. This upgrade to a Smart Mechatronics Laboratory will empower students to master cutting-edge technologies and enhance research capacity.

The donated cyber-physical systems and equipment will be first applied to the courses of eight departments such as big data modeling and smart management. On inauguration day, students demonstrated hands-on operation of the equipment.
